Durex Can Weather the Recession

Here’s some news Aine Collier knew all along: Condom makers thrive in economic downtimes. And it looks like these sort of companies might be a safe bet for recession times.

As a perfect example serves SSL International maker of the Durex condom brand which at the same time is the only condom brand that is sold almost worldwide.

Stock trading works out great for SSL International after they have revealed the “very good first half” of their year. Only “a few companies are immune from the impending recession, but the public’s sexual appetite shows no signs of diminishing”, says The Telegraph.

On the other hand condom prices in the UK are still much too high if you ask me.
