We have word that Sagami released a new model for the Japanese market just in time for Valentine’s Day, 14th of February 2009.
The product is called Sagami Original 0.02 Premium and is supposed to be the thinnest polyurethane condom available on the market. It is an addition to their preexisting product family Sagami Original Premium (as you may have guessed).
What makes it really special is the price tag of about 2000 Yen (22 USD) for 4 pieces. The black look gives it some sort of luxury aura.
Some of the advantages reported by Sagami are:
- Biocompatibility
- Very thin 0,02 mm (opposed to a standart of about 0,45-0,70 mm)
- Stronger than latex
- No latex smell
- Conducts warmth better
- Special packaging
I will report more as soon as we have the samples.
Sincere thanks to Evan

This is an amazing product from the sounds of it! 0.02 mm, that’s a mere 20 microns!
According to friends who have used it (imported from Hong Kong), once you try this, you’ll never go back.
Unfortunately, it seems like it’s not widely available. We are actually in the process of contacting the manufacturer to have it imported to Canada.
